The School of Music at NIU presents “Fading Expressions” an electroacoustic and video recital, Monday, February 6.
The concert features pieces composed by NIU Composition Faculty Phillip Sink, D.M., and Brian Penkrot, PhD, and the concluding piece is an electronic ballet. This unique and innovative program represents an exciting example of bridging multiple disciplines within the arts.
In addition to the new works by Sink and Penkrot, the percussion features NIU graduate teaching assistant Ethan Martin and NIU student Evan Taylor on percussion and electronics.
Admission is free of charge. The concert will be held in the Recital Hall in the NIU Music Building on the main campus in DeKalb, at 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 6.
