The 2025-2026 Production Series of the NIU School of Theatre and Dance concludes with the annual Spring Dance Concert. The dance concert features a variety of works choreographed by faculty members Marc Macaranas, Michel Rodriguez Cintra and Richard Grund, as well as by KC Bevis, artistic director of Chicago Dance Crash. Twenty-talented NIU dancers will be featured in the concert, which opens Thursday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in O’Connell Theatre in the Stevens Building on NIU’s main campus.
Other 7:30 p.m. performances will be held Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26. A talkback featuring dancers, choreographers and designers on the show will be hosted by Professor Marc Macaranas after the Saturday night performance.
Tickets are on sale online with special rates for seniors, faculty/staff and non-NIU students. NIU students are admitted free of charge with a reserved ticket.
