Kelly Langenberg, Applied Faculty in French Horn in the NIU School of Music has been named the Education Director of Chamber Music on the Fox.
Chamber Music on the Fox is a world-class classical chamber music series serving Elgin and the greater Fox Valley region, whose mission is to present engaging, enriching, and immersive performances and cultural experiences that enhance and enrich the cultural offerings of the area. The 2018-19 season will mark their fifth anniversary.
Langenberg earned her master’s in music from DePaul University and bachelor’s and bachelor’s of music education from Baldwin Wallace University. She is a Hans Hoyer USA Concert Artist and a Denis Wick Artist and Clinician. She currently serves as Applied Faculty in French Horn at Northern Illinois University and University of Illinois-Chicago, and as a Classroom Music Instructor at Elgin Community College.
