The NIU Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Eric Johnson, will perform a showcase concert, Sunday, February 18 at Lakeside Arts Park At The Dole, 401 Country Club Road in Crystal Lake at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online prior to noon, February 16 or at the event.
The performance is part of the NIU School of Music Showcase and Guest Performances Series, supported by Foglia Family Foundation and McHenry County Community Foundation.
The NIU Chamber Choir is a select 24-voice vocal ensemble whose membership is comprised of vocal performance and music education majors at the graduate and undergraduate level. The Chamber Choir has earned an international reputation for artistic excellence, and particular acclaim for their interpretation of contemporary repertoire.
