Students from the College of Visual and Performing Arts were special guests at the NIU home football game Saturday, September 23 versus the University of Tulsa. Students were invited by NIU Vice President/Director of Athletics and Recreation Sean Frazier to a pregame tailgate party in the Huskie Athletic Fund tent and to the Fifth Quarter celebration after the game in the Barsema Alumni and Visitor Center.
In reciprocation, Paul Kassel, Dean of CVPA is working with the Department of Athletics to arrange for events where student athletes will be the special guests for performances and exhibitions.
