NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS

The Jack Olson Gallery of the NIU School of Art and Design is home to the exhibition “Meeting of Makers: Merging of Space” from August 29 through October 27.

It is an invitational exhibition of artist printmakers with interest in installation. Works by Laura Berman, Nandini Chirimar, Lauren Kussro, Masha Ryskin, Marilee Salvator, Claire Whitehurst, Al and Holly Wong. Exhibition co-curated by MFA candidates Rachel Beer and Alex Bridges.

Admission is free of charge. The Olson Gallery is located on the second floor of Jack Arends Hall, home of the NIU School of and Art Design on the main campus in DeKalb. The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Upcoming exhibitions include the annual High School Invitational, November 9 through 19 partially underwritten by Blick Art Materials and the BFA Show, December 1-8.
