DancersIn conjunction with the NIU Art Museum exhibition, Exploring Aspects of War In and Through the Visual Arts, NIU School of Theatre and Dance students perform Your Excellency, at the NIU Art Museum, Sunday, November 10 at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 12 at 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday, November 13 at 12:30 p.m.

Your Excellency was choreographed by NIU Professor of Dance Paula Frasz, and inspired by black Union solider James Henry Gooding’s letter to President Abraham Lincoln.

Solo, duet and trio improv performances also presented.

The performers will include Brendan Sapp as the narrator/actor and dancers George Curtis, Amaris White and Jordan Murphy.

Exploring Aspects of War In and Through the Visual Arts has been extended through November 13.

The performance is free and open to the public.
