Celebrate the holidays with the NIU School of Music at a pair of annual holiday musical celebrations this December.

First up is the NIU Jazz Orchestra’s Swingin’ in the Holidays, Sunday, December 1 at 3 p.m. in Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the NIU Music Building on the main campus.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and you can save $2.50 by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate.

Sunday, December 8 is the 22nd Annual Holiday Choral Concert, featuring the NIU Concert Choir, the NIU Chamber Choir and the University Chorus. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. in Boutell Memoral Concert Hall.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Kids age five and under are free.


Also, don’t forget the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Campus Strings Holiday Pops Concert – Winter Wonderland, Friday, December 13 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m. in Boutell Memorial Concert Hall.  Tickets for the KSO can be purchased at kishorchestra.org.
