NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS

Northern Illinois University’s School of Art and Design is hosting the Community College Art Faculty and Juried Student Exhibition now through February 15.  Student and faculty work form more than a dozen Illinois community colleges is on display. A closing reception and awards presentation will be held Friday, Feb. 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Annette and Jerry Johns Gallery, room 214 of the Jack Arends Visual Art Building on NIU’s main campus in DeKalb.

The Annette and Jerry Johns Gallery is open to the public Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon.

Jean Ruth, Carol Luc, Bob Dominiak and Sue Dominiak served as the jurors for the student exhibition. Director of the School of Art and Design John Siblik curated the faculty exhibition.

Admission is free.
