As part of Northern Illinois University’s series of remembrance events to mark the passage of ten years, and honor the lives of five students lost on February 14, 2008, the School of Music presents Forward Together: A Concert in Tribute. The concert will be held Saturday, February 10 at 8 p.m., in Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in NIU’s Music Building.
The concert features performances by the NIU Concert Choir, conducted by Eric Johnson; members of the NIU Percussion Studio, conducted by Ben Whalund; the NIU Jazz Ensemble, led by Reggie Thomas, a Steelpan Ensemble led by Yuko Asada, and a piano trio led by Cheng-Hou Lee.
Admission is free of charge.
