You can enjoy some of the NIU Jazz Orchestra’s songs from their set at the 2023 Jack Rudin Jazz Championships at Lincoln Center when they perform as part of the annual Jazz at the Egyptian, Saturday February 4.
Jazz at the Egyptian features the NIU Jazz Orchestra, Jazz in Progress, the DeKalb High School Jazz Ensemble and the Sycamore High School Jazz Ensemble. The performances start at 7 p.m. in the historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown DeKalb.
Proceeds from this one of a kind concert support local music programs at DeKalb and Sycamore high schools and NIU.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for students and seniors and $7 for those 12 and under. You can get your tickets at egyptiantheatre.org.
