As the 2023-2024 academic year comes to a close, the College of Visual and Performing Arts has named this year’s award winners. Students are honored on the basis of their academic achievement, community engagement, professional and interdisciplinary work and leadership.
Sally Stevens Award
The winners of this year’s Sally Stevens Award are Roger Martinez Fermin from the School of Art and Design, Chanel Antoshin from the School of Music and Alyssa Altadonna from the School of Theatre and Dance.
The Sally Stevens Award is given to provide financial assistance to talented rising senior students in music, art and theatre and dance.
Dean’s Award
The Dean’s Award recognizes excellence achieved in the student’s school and college-wide. The winners’ artistry, citizenship and leadership merit recognition. The winners for 2023-2024 are Brianna Boyd from the School of Art and Design, Cheyanne Fleming in the School of Music and Autumn Dancy from the School of Theatre and Dance.
