A first-person account of the importance of combining experience in the field with the Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) highlights an article written by Tracy Nunally, Head of Design and Technology at NIU’s School of Theatre and Dance.
Nunnally was one of the first 45 professional riggers to be certified in both Theatre-Rigging and Arena-Rigging by the ETCP. He is also the owner of Vertigo, the only professional flying effects company founded by and headed by professional educators.
The article, “ETCP certification makes a difference” is featured in the Spring 2018 edition of Entertainment Services and Technology Association’s (ESTA) Protocol Magazine.
