The weekend of March 17-18 students from the NIU Dance Program attended the Central Conference of the American College Dance Association (ACDA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The students performed “ENUF,” a work choreographed by NIU School of Theatre Professor Paula Frasz.
“ENUF” received the top honor at the conference and as a result, the NIU dancers have received an invitation to represent the Central Conference at the national festival of ACDA (the National College Dance Festival) held June 6-9 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
Performances will be held at the Kennedy Center in three sessions starting on Thursday, June 7. For more information on the National College Dance Festival visit their website.
