Amanda van Valkenburg earned tenure and promotion to associate professor of time arts. van Valkenburg will be sabbatical for fall semester.
Mike Rea, associate professor of sculpture featured in a pair of exhibitions. Dualities, a national sculpture exhibition at the Pensacola Museum of Art in Pensacola, FL, and Mature Works a solo exhibition for Bertrand Productions in Philadelphia, PA which opens September 20.

Jullian Young, assistant professor of time arts attended a residency in Colorado.
Maria Grillo, assistant professor of visual communications and Helen Nagata, associate professor of art history and visual studies both traveled to Japan on separate research and presentation trips.
Mary Quinlan, professor of art history and visual studies is back from sabbatical.
Rebecca Houze, professor of art history also completed a sabbatical and will be teaching an art history seminar on the National Parks related to her upcoming book.
