The annual Spring Dance Concert brings a close to the 2024-2025 NIU School of Theatre and Dance production season. More than 20 student dancers will perform works by guest choreographer Vershawn Sanders-Ward of Red Clay Dance Company and NIU faculty choreographers Marc Macaranas, Michael Rodriguez Cintra and Sarita Smith Childs.
For the first time ever, the dance concert will be staged in the Black Box Theatre in the NIU Stevens Building.
Performances will be held nightly at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26, with 2 p.m. matinees Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27.
Tickets are available online and NIU students are admitted free with a reserved ticket.
