Roxanna Conner, director of NIU’s School of Theatre and Dance was featured on PBS Detroit’s Arts Engines hosted by Aaron Dworkin, professor of entrepreneurship and leadership at the University of Michigan. Dworkin is a 2005 MacArthur Fellow and was President Barack Obama’s first appointee to the National Council on the Arts in 2009.
Conner and Dworkin discussed the changing world of theater and its importance to society.
