Bobby Broom, associate professor of jazz guitar and jazz studies was featured as one of “Chicago’s Very Own” on WGN-TV News.
Broom discussed his passion for playing music and teaching, and School of Music students Jackson Wheeler and Alejandra Hernandez were also interviewed for the piece.
Broom’s 14th studio album “Keyed Up” was recently released and a new date will soon be announced for his masterclass at NIU with members of his touring quartet that was originally scheduled for October 18.
