Snow Yunxue Fu, US-based Chinese-born artist, curator, and Assistant Arts Professor in the Department of Photography and Imaging at NYU, Tisch School of the Arts will present a visiting artist talk, Wednesday, April 6 at 11 a.m. via Zoom.
Fu’s work builds off of contemporary art ideas involving painting and photography and applies them to the medium of 3D animation and experimental video installations. Her interviews and reviews have been covered in the New York Times, the Boston Globe, Arebyte on Screen, Sedition, Guangzhou Today’s Focus in China, and the St. Louis Magazine Art Review. Her gallery representation includes TRANSFER Gallery New York, Carlos Reid Gallery, and The OUTPUT in Shanghai. Her work has been collected by the Currents Museum in New York and she remains the youngest artist collected by the National Art Museum of China.
