For one night only, the iconic Altgeld Hall Auditorium on the NIU Campus will be transformed into a jazz dance club as the NIU Jazz Orchestra presents a Swing Dance, Sunday, October 21 at 6 p.m.
Everyone’s invited to join the Jazz Orchestra for a one-of-a-kind evening of good food, great music and dancing. The NIU Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Reggie Thomas, who also serves as Coordinator of Jazz Studies, will be serving up great dance music, and attendees will be treated to appetizers, dessert and punch.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online, and are $20 each. Students who just want to come and dance can attend for only $7.
